In looking around their yard they picked an old wrecked tracked HDD that could be used as a donor machine. This was then bought to MWE with the basic overall dimensions and performance criteria specified.

MWE has then stripped out the motor and hydraulic pumps and utilised these to build a stand-alone power pack (Photo to be added). The HDD frame was stripped and cut down to suit the supplied dimensions, all moving parts reconditioned. (Photo to be added). A full new set of MWE Drill Rods including starter rods and spindle supplied. (Photo to be added). This transformed some wrecked abandoned machinery into a new specialised drill that will give many more years of use.
